Bung Makko Multi-Game Doctor 2 SRAM card replacement battery?

So working on getting an old Bung Makko Multi-Game Doctor 2 running, for some reason. I tracked down some SRAM cards, but the batteries in both are dead (white squares in the photo).

They're just coin cell batteries in a plastic housing. Not sure if they're rechargeable or not. Figured before I try to split them open (no clear way to do this without damaging them) I'd ask the community to see if anyone has any details/information.

Some more pics of the battery holder. Thinking I can partially split it open (might need a heated cutting tool) and work the battery out?

Talked to someone who has done the battery swaps and they confirmed there's not a nondestructive way to do it. I have a third, more beaten up and lower capacity, card on the way. I'll try cutting into that. From the picture they provided it looks like there are a couple pegs. Will try to avoid breaking them.

Got a battery working, only to find that the floppy drive is bad. That's going to be an issue since it's a 26 pin IDC connector (can't find a similar drive anywhere). I might be able to come up with a working adapter like this one: https://floppyemulator.com/products/34-26-pin-flat-cable-adaptor/
