Probably nothing many of you haven't seen before, but I thought I'd re-cap my Astro City PSU before it started giving me any grief.
And it's probably a good thing I did. Though the PSU seemed to be working fine, there was more leakage under the six large caps than on anything I've ever worked on before. If I hadn't pulled them out, I'd never have noticed. All of the electrolyte on the board was hidden beneath the caps themselves.
Looks like I caught it early enough that it hasn't damaged anything on the board. A little bit of a clean, some new caps, and I reckon it'll be good for another 30 years. (but will I?)
