Capcom Fighting Collection 2: STREET FIGHTER ZERO 3 Upper -> sega naomi P O R T !!!

In hope a DC Version (with insert coin of course). One sugestion, maybe patched BGM for original street fighter alpha soundtrack.
 
Its possible to recuperation the artwork game in cfc2?
It is but I have no time to investigate this. I don't even have time to finish this ROM :( I made some discoveries that I would need to share and some explanation because I think that I mispleaded some things but I don't have time to explain. But I will come back to that project soon. Thank you!
 
No one is playing this game competitively anyway. It's just for kicks.

Since HDemon stated they don't even have the time to really finish this anyway, what makes you think they are going to go to the trouble to tackle your feature request as well? Seems low priority considering.
 
I have one request pertaining to this port:

Is it possible to restore the normal guard gauge values when doing V-ISM Custom Combos on a guarding opponent? In CFC2, the values are extremely high and causes the player to receive more damage to their gauge than normal. As a result, it causes guard breaks more frequently.

@JohnRambo'sKnife The goal of the project it's to bring it competitive by fixing the input lag. I don't say the game will be the most played in tournaments, but organize some tournaments with my friends is here the objective. Still my right to ask to a feature even if it's not finalized. Your advice is not an absolute truth. Maybe HDemon will get back in this stuff, you don't know. My approach is to have the much fun possible, so more characters means more fun

Cool project. But man, I'd be floored if someone would eventually tackle extracting upper, as well as Hyper SF Alpha from ps2 Alpha Anthology into a playable rom, as Capcom downported Upper to cps2(alpha anthology is running a cps2 emulator). This is the definitive version of Upper. As it doesn't have the awful input lag, does not have the awful dropped input bug, nor does it have the bugged guard crush meter scaling. It's kind of an unplayable mess of a game, sadly

Even if it wouldn't fit on real hardware, havinga cps2 upper(and hsfa) available to play on something like fightcade or something for online play would be amazing, imo

Added the Additional Characters setting to EX Settings.
About Additional Characters
When this option is On, the additional characters Eagle, Maki, Yun, and Ingrid will be available.


Note: Additional characters will be disabled for casual and ranked matches.


Training Mode
Training Menu > Dummy Behavior
- Added the settings Damage Reduction and Timing Guard.
- Added the following five options to the Recovery setting.
Midair Recovery (neutral), Midair Recovery (forward), Midair Recovery (backward), Ground Recovery (close), Ground Recovery (far)


Training Menu > Dummy Settings
- Added the Fixed 100% option to the Super Combo Gauge setting.
- Added the Mode Select setting to EX Settings.
Available options are On, Off, and Original. When this option is On, mode selection is possible on the character select screen.


About Mode Select
When this option is On, a mode select menu appears on the character select screen.
Available modes are NORMAL, MAZI, SAIKYO, and CLASSIC.


MAZI
• The amount of damage you deal and receive are increased.
• In addition, you lose the match if your opponent wins a single round.


SAIKYO
• Your Guard Power gauge is shortened, and you are easier to stun.
• However, the score you earn is increased.


CLASSIC
• This mode makes the game similar to Street Fighter 2.Super Combos, air guard, and recoveries cannot be used, and the Guard
• Power gauge is disabled.


Note: These modes cannot be used in casual or ranked matches.

- Added the Fixed 100% option to the Super Combo Gauge setting.Training Menu > Dummy Settings
- Added the Fixed 100% option to the Guts Gauge setting.
