Hey! Recently acquired a Chewlix. It's a very good copy of a vewlix. Looks almost identical to my friends real vewlix. Anyhow, I want to connect it to my pc but need some help or tips if anyone has done something similar.

I want my gaming pc to still be under my desk like it is right now and connect the chewlix to the pc via arcade button encoders and a hdmi switcher so i can switch between the chewlix and my pc monitor.
Has anyone done something similar? I have no clue how to set up the speakers for this, as I want to use the speakers in the Chewlix when I play games on it.

Thanks! /Mordheim

your chewlix should have an amp with 3.5mm connector. You can output from your pc to it. you can even have "Y" connectors to have 2 sets of output / speakers if you wanted to keep lets say your desktop speakers sometimes.
You'll need a Brooks fighting board or something similar, like the https://misteraddons.com/collections/arcade/products/reflex-encode-fighting-board, to link your PC to your buttons.
for your wiring, there are probably other options but since I know these amp universal connectors so much (and since I have them in stock), here's what I did:
The jamma was connected to the buttons. I cut that out and place a female connector for player 1 and for player 2

I mapped 2 brooks board to the same female connectors ( and a bit more (the greys) since there are 8 buttons on my control panel)

my joystick and buttons have the male connectors so I can choose to plug them either in the brooks or the jamma connector, shall I ever want to use it ( I have not since I have 7 jamma CRT cabs)

brooks boards output USB, to your PC of course.

Hoping this helps

Thank you SO MUCH!
I just ordered two brooks boards and extra long usb cables! This post was so helpful. Can't wait to set it up this way.
