Console JAMMAizer! Easily connect home consoles to your JAMMA arcade cabinet.

Very interested in this as well. I have he old firmware upgrade and have tried to burn these myself using the original MC Cthulhu PCB's no luck whatsoever

@Arthrimus, the VGA hat remains unchanged in V2?
The firmware that's available for download is only part of it, it's not a dump of the entire PIC18 because of the security bits that are set.

I dunno about any of the hacking stuff. Way above my paygrade. I just follow instructions left by others :).

Console JAMMAizer V2 round 2 PCBs and parts have arrived, I'll be doing final assembly, programming and testing over the next few days and then they will be back in stock on Sunday at 3:00PM Central Standard Time.

Woohoo! Now I can stop refreshing your store page dozens of times a day ;).

I'm trying to get my Xbox360 to play nice with the Jammaizer but I just get a black screen. Anybody done this successfully? Seeing a real lack of scart options for it except for the composite to scart adapters which is what I was using.

The Console JAMMAizer cannot accept Composite video, it is RGB only. Your best bet is probably a VGA cable, but if you need 15khz that may not be an option for you. I doubt the 360 can do 15khz over VGA.

I figured that might be the case. Everything else has worked great. I guess a component to scart converter would work but I don't know if it's worth it. Appreciate the reply man!

IIRC it will over SCART but I’m not at home to test right now.

If you want to to play nice Xbox360 games on 15/24 low and middle res on your candy cabinet , is needed a uvc downscaler or another device who can downscale . my setup is : uvc - xbox360 with vga cable and im using the scart plugs from vga cable in jammaizer to get sound over that vga . otherwise , you need uvc or other downscaler like retrotink 5x or newer, xbox360 scart cable and the jammafinger to make connections for uvc to plug in the jamma loom . then of course BROOK UFB or Retro ones .

here is my setup :

@Arthrimus Okay, figured out how to get my 360 wired to my cab. It works perfectly! May be helpful for anyone else in the future.

Xbox360 > oem 360 component cable > retrotink comp2rgb > scart to scart cable > jammaizer > cab

The tink comp2rgb can be powered from the 360 itself with a usb cable

Using Brook fighting Board XB

Nice, I didn't know those comp2rgb modules were sold anymore. I was looking for one a while ago and they were sold out everywhere.
