So, I downloaded the cps1 multi installation guide. It says that my 92641C-1 c board HAS to have the battery removed, but the "what donor for cps1 multi" thread says it can be left on. Do I need to remove the battery or not? Thanks!!
from what i understand, if u have an unmodified battery-in c board, u can run encrypted and unencrypted roms so u should be good to go. best to get a second opinion on that tho,. things change rather quickly arounf here sometimes.
u need to remove the battery. this is the mitsurigiW instructional video saying u need to as well. check the vid at 1 minute 50 seconds

Welp, just waiting patiently (not really, I'm sitting here sweating) for you know what. The B board slid into the A board like butter, I had to look at it and make sure there wasn't something wrong...lol The only noticeable thing is that the reset wire is perilously close to being too short, but it did reach. I'm truly excited and appreciate everyone who participated in this!!! Thanks!!!

Also, DS multi's are expensive as hell, but ALWAYS packed like a real, legit, pro-product, and I do appreciate that.
I've been rocking CPS1 on MiSTer, I have all the US CPS1.5 games, but I'm still EXCITED AS HELL to have this!

Looks like so far all the initial deliveries have the Q-Sound chip. This doesn’t bode well for those who are still waiting for shipment and want a Q-Sound.
