Received a tested/working X-MEN COTA B-board from Japan, which arrived not working. All it gives is the typical "dead battery" turquoise screen.
Opened it up, found the battery was replaced with a Cpics2, which is apparently a revival/battery replacement addition. There were some dodgy solder joints on said Cpics2, but reflowing the solder produced no change.
Anybody familiar with the Cpics2? Am I overlooking something? Thanks for any suggestions.
I have probably a dozen or so other CPS2 games (running on batteries) which all function fine, so the A board is good. The other B board which I got from the same seller is running fine with a Cpics2.
