Hello,
Can you help me select an affordable crimp tool that would deal with the most commons pins: JST-NH / AMP-UP / Molex eventually DuPont
Thanks

This is good for most everything but Dupont (Iwiss SN-2549): https://www.amazon.com/IWISS-Crimping-AWG28-18-Ratcheting-Connector/dp/B01N4L8QMW

This is alright for Dupont (use the #3 section) https://www.amazon.com/Crimping-Preciva-Ratcheting-Connectors-0-1-1mm²/dp/B07R1H3Z8X

E: The reason for two different tools. Most contacts in the arcade world use an "F" crimp for the insulation, while Dupont uses an "O" crimp.

Great guide and glad to see it mentioning not to solder after crimping. Not sure why but I still see people mentioning doing this (not on this forum thankfully). Only time solder should be involved is if you're building a male adapter with header out of some series that only offers a female wire connector (such as JST NH)

Unfortunately he overlooks a lot of the most common arcade connectors. When I was setting up shop I used him as a resource but still had to dig for a lot of stuff on my own.

EDIT: Also some of his advice is wacky like I think he talks about not liking tools with insulation stops which made me go "wut", they're a godsend if you're stripping to the manufacturer recommended length and working fast. Though overall it's a unique and great resource
