Happy 2024 guys,

I wonder if anyone ever tried to install a CRT monitor into an Arcade1Up cabinet (?)
If it is possible I would like to get one to convert with a full real Jamma hardware, and in this case I would buy a Deluxe edition cabinet.
In my case I will use a 14" one, probably adding a sort of open frame...
If anyone own one, It would be useful to know the distance between the center of the current monitor and the back cover, in order to understand if I could fit one. Thanks!

Youll have better luck asking on the arcade 1up fb group.

I own a pacman arcade1up for the wife.
I wouldn't trust the wood to hold up a 20 in crt monitor. It's cheap particle wood.
Youre going to need upgraded buttons and levers,a jamma PSU if that is your end goal..etc..etc..
You'd be better off finding cabinet plans online and diy'ing it imo.

A regular crt will never fit a regular a1up, sorry. Btw… you can convert, like me, your cab into a jamma machine and use a cga to vga/hdmi converter (with a new monitor board, obv). And… add a scanline converter to the chain 😄

I don't know if I will go through this project, but I am curious to find that dimension and see...
