You would want to probably share the file actual ISO.

So the part when you grab the "MARUPUA" file and place it into the stock ISO and save that as a whole knew one.

That way, someone can just download the ISO you made and go straight to burning the CD.
 
ISO with 3 versions of 3s preloaded just use the "MARUPA" method above to flash what color variation you want to use. 2 custom mixes named "PS2_DC" (console EX colors) "WILDBE" (wildberry mix). And the original colors "ORIGIN".

This only works for Darksoft Multi.
First download the image and you'll burn it to your sd card or cdrom. I use Win32diskimager, open it or whatever program you used and locate the "3sCPS3MIX.ISO" file and write to the disk.
Next insert sd card or disc in and startup your cps3. Hold 1P button until Darksoft menu appears. Then go to "Disk & Files" press shot1. Go to "S1 <DIR>" press shot1. The different mixes are located here. "ORIGIN" (original), "PS2_DC" (console EX), "WILDBE" (wildberry).
Go to which version you would and press shot1. Go to "Write to Flash Memory" press shot1. Go to "Simm5" press shot1. Leave start offset as is and press shot1 again. Let the program do it's magic, the actual write to flash process takes about 5 mins so go take a break and come back. Once it's finished, just reboot your cps3 and it'll will run whatever mix you wrote. If you have any questions, let me know.

Original is the stock colors. Console EX is the extra character color pallettes that were exclusive to only PS2, DC, and Online Edition with no changes to special moves, Ex flashes, or SuperArt flashes but has some other minor changes to the VS select screen and the HUD. Wildberry is pretty self explainitory. It's wild and very flamboyant.

This is honestly what I'd probably use the new 'instant' CPS3 multi for, to be able to have some fun with stuff like this. I'm just not going to do a 45 minute write session to try it on the old one. But it's a great idea.

It doesn't take 45mins to write. As long as 3s is the game you have loaded.. applying the different colors only takes 5 mins. You don't have to rewrite the entire game as a whole if that makes sense.
 
Oh yeah both mixes have the new stage edits as well.. and in a few days I'll update the ISO to also include the edited stages with the original char pallettes. Riiya did a nice job with those and I know ppl like just playing with those and keeping everything else original. I'll repost when I update it.

i was surprised my first try as well. "3sCPS3MIX.ISO" is just "UniCD-CPS3_for_custom_SH2_V5_Unmodified.ISO" with my additions and repacked... when i first made the image i was affraid my cps3 wouldn't accept it or i would have to install 3s again. [granted it didnt accept it at first bc I packed it up with .7z file compression like a baboon and wrote it to my sdcard lol] But after correcting my mishap... it recognized it as if nothing had changed. So i restarted my cps3 held P1 button for darksoft menu and did the "write to flash" magic, my scsi2sd device light started flashing like strobes as it begun the read and write process... and i was scared asf but lo and behold, 7min30sec later the deed was done. i rebooted and it was ready to go with new colors. And it's the same wait time going from and to Original mix and/or any mix for that matter. So we can all share mixes, and add to each others, and 10 yrs down the road not say.. hey does so and so still have a copy of that mvc2 remix that was done on dreamcast at evo way back when before there was a time of having an unlimited amount of space as long as you didn't go cheap on the size of your sd card lmao. If anyone has success with this I'd like to see it, hell i'd hold someone's hand through this just to see it done lol. so if you need help, i'm here always.
 
when will the file be updated to have the original Color pallets on characters but have PAL modded stages?
I am totally fine with Wild berry or EX but others that come over to play get wrinkles on the their noses & foreheads in disapprovement X( of the epic super and EX colors etc.
