Just recap it all then...With help from @8bitforlife , we have found there is not a 12v pot for adjustment. Looks like its time for a recap on the 12v section.

Baby steps! This is my first time recapping a psu- not 100% certain it wont explode after I get done with it.Just recap it all then...With help from @8bitforlife , we have found there is not a 12v pot for adjustment. Looks like its time for a recap on the 12v section.
If you can do a monitor, you can do this. They're WAY less complicated, way sturdier PCBs, much easier of a job.Baby steps! This is my first time recapping a psu- not 100% certain it wont explode after I get done with it.
Nice to see you up and running. That rewrite is a righteous dude for hooking you up!@acblunden2 rodo666a that's not been modded for side compression. Which might be causing my problems on horizontal.
Mine doesn't have a neckboard fan or even holes to mount it. Personally I'd leave it off but then it's extremely unlikely to overheat here in the UK.can anyone take a picture of the wire in the windy2 that connects to the psu then its suppose to connect to the neckboard fan.
That's pretty brave. If the design required a fan I'd keep it.Mine doesn't have a neckboard fan or even holes to mount it. There seem to be two models of WIndy 2. The first one I have has the fan mounts and a fan on the psu. The second one I have does not have either, nor a spot for it. The psu is different and also does not have a place for a fan. That's pretty brave. If the design required a fan I'd keep it.Mine doesn't have a neckboard fan or even holes to mount it. I bought a new fan. I just got it in the mail today and I haven't messed around with it yet. I'll keep you guys posted with what I find.
