Sounds like a faulty motherboard, does an original cart work okay?
The 1FZ sound problem could be due to faulty caps, tried replacing them?

I cannot say if the cause was just the voltage, or the voltage and the trace.
I double checked : By setting back the voltage to 4.80V, the sound issue came back. Back to 4.70V, no problem anymore.
After 4 hours with MS1 running, everything was fine. No sound issue at all.
