What i know is on my Vulcan Venture is also need this chip to be replaced (im curious if can be reproduced , also i can give away my faulty chip)
This is how my pcb acts and im sad i cant still enjoy with this game :

My Vulcan Venture is under repairing progress (isnt in my possesion) , ive sent it to be repaired in 2021 . @Hammy taking care for me for this game as he did it in many other repair cases for my games .
So, if he consider that chip from my VV board can be donated , i agree to be donated .
Ive talked with Ulf and i explain him the situation too

skutis77 did alot of Konami customs schematics ... already few of them are used on Jotego's cores . Because of his beautiful work for Konami Twin16 core, we will have nice titles in MiSTer soon

No I don’t . I want this chip to go straight to skutis- he has the correct connections for the job at hand

I don’t possess the following-
Not the sophisticated microscopic photography equipment.

Not the chemicals or chemical knowlage
Of how to dissolve the plastics without damaging the die.

Even if I did have the above I I wouldn’t know what to do with it if I did!

I’m just trying to connect the dots .
So gradius loving people like me get its
Incarnations and knowledge of how it was constructed / also repro custom copy of this chip 1 step closer to reality,
and then Set into stone for ever.

Furrtek or siliconpr0n (John McMaster) can probably help with decapping. You'd have to ask them obviously - I can't speak for them, I only know their capabilities.
