I'm looking for guidance on how to (cleanly) power the GD-ROM adapter when using a SuperGun.
Until now, I've been interested in late 80s through mid 90s arcade games. I've recently started to look into picking up a Naomi and a few of the games on the platform. The Capcom I/O board seems like the way to go for the cartridges if you've got a SuperGun since you can power everything from the SuperGun power supply via JAMMA.
I've read that the JAMMA interface is inadequate for powering the GD-ROM adapter and thus a different power supply is needed. The setups I've seen that incorporate a separate power supply are quite unwieldy. I'm hoping to learn what the cleanest / simplest way to power this. I have a spare MWP-606 - can I get cable to that? Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
