There’s been several revisions of the 161 in 1 carts. Some revisions are better than others. Issues have included corrupt sprites, music problems across the games and Puzzle Bobble 2, Aero Fighters 3 & Mark of the Wolves crashing. Full details on problematic games are here:

For me personally, the biggest flaw with the 161 in 1 is that it’s missing some of the best games on the platform such as Windjammers, Shock Troopers 1, NAM-1975, Twinkle Star Sprites and Metal Slug 5.
Thanks. I'm aware of that page.
Nothing on that page would make the cart "useless". I'm not saying you said it would (make it useless), I'm speaking to the broader conversation going on.
The list of issues is small in comparison to the number of games. Unless you really love 1 character in motw, everything can be worked around.
No doubt some good games are missing but there are 100 unique games that end up costing around $1 (or less) each.
I don't see how anyone can claim there's no value in the 161 n 1. If it only played 10 games well, it would still be worth the $100. Where are you getting 10 unique games to play on your AES at $10 per game? Nowhere.
Even if you buy MVS games, you still need an expensive MVS to AES adapter. The cheapest one I've ever seen was $65, and I've never actually seen it; I just know it exists, but supply is extremely limited. MVS to AES Adapters are also not issue free, either.
For anyone just starting out with AES (or MVS) the 161 in 1 is, pretty much, a must have.
