It is Zelle itself, for all transactions involving business accounts. There's not really much online at a cursory glance and I just don't want to deal with it

Here's the panel overlay availability for legit overlays:

7 available

6 available

And that's it. I don't know when they'll have more but I bought them all. Will work with Alberto getting these sent out and put on panels.

ohh, I definitely want a 2player panel for my blue diamond.

So these are taito official overlays ontop of an Alberto panel?

Yeah, though if anyone wants to wait the 3 months for TAITO to cut a panel, we can do that. I might actually do it for mine but only because I’m in no hurry at all.

I don’t know yet how to distribute the black panels, I know everyone wants one and there’s only so many. Only reason I’m not going forward yet is because I don’t know how to do it fairly. Lottery system? I’m going to see how long it takes for them to restock too.

I would definitely like a 2-player panel with overlay as well. It’s hard to tell from the pics, but what is the difference between the two blue overlays?

Not specifically going to need one very quickly but in Canadia everything shipping wise is more expensive vs having it all together if it arrives at the same time as the cabs do for the order.

Nothing against Alblerto, his panels are of very high quality...
But you should be aware he spot welds the joystick mount to the plate based on the images I have seen (I don't own one of his Vewlix panels).

This is NOT how Taito dose it, and the reason for that is Taito (at one time) sold different style joystick mounting plates (one for Sanwa JLF and one for Semitsu LSx).
Now if he spot welds a universal mount that would be great (some might even say an advancement over Taito) but again its NOT how Taito does it (I subtract points for inaccuracy).

I don't believe he's selling them yet.

The one I have is like this:

@rewrite thanks for the image!
Yes you can see that mounting plate IS spot welded to the actual panel...

Anything wrong with that? functionally no, but from an accurate reproduction standpoint yes.*shrug*

You all know how I feel about that (aka why not just do it right).

Sure, but, uh, what kind of mounting plate is it? lol

Doesn't matter how long I'm in this hobby, I always need to look these things up. New cab comes in, it gets a new joystick, I never look at the mount again.

So, you're trying to say the Highlander welds the entire plate?
If you wanted a Highlander breakdown it would go something like this...

Taito made the cab, Taito made the panel, Taito for whatever reason decided it should be mounted NOT welded.

Any questions?

Looks like some kind of highbreed (ie bastardization) that would accept both?
It sure AF don't look like the Taito mount (and that is my problem with it).

@Hadouken Arcade is working on some reproduction Seimitsu LS-32 mounts for the Taito panel.
Taito stopped production on this style a few years ago (my guess is due to low demand).

Folks who buy Alberto panel better hope it fits Seimitsu, cuz if it don't you'll have to resort to adding more adapter plates.
Removing the existing mount and swapping it for another will NOT be an option FYI.

The panels I have from Alberto take both types of plates, Sanwa and Seimitsu.
They are not Vewlix panels, but same system, perfect

You don't switch between Sanwa and Semitsu?

See I simply love Sanwa for Capcom fighters, so yea if I'm playing one of thos (most likely I am) its what I'm using.
Shooters, beat'em ups, Neo-Geo fighters... These all control better with Semitsu IMO.

Again another advantage to the mounted system is IF you wanted to put a Suzo Happ comp-pro into a Vewlix panel to play MK...
You could do it without stacking up a few different universal plates to align the hole pattern.

I did put the disclaimer above stating some will find Alberto's style as advancement over Taito's.
I do appreciate him trying to simplify and unify the joystick mount, I just prefer to keep things in the (potentially flawed depending on PoV) Taito style.

Nope, I don't swap them out. I like Seimitsu better overall, so I stick those in where possible. The Vewlixes have Sanwa just because those are the plates already in them.
