I've been into video games since when the C64 was a big thing around here in the late 80s.
Growing up the arcades started to vanish in my local area and kids weren't allowed to use coin ops in most places.
Besides from playing a couple of pinball tables at bars and cinemas I can only recall a few times of visiting real arcades during the holidays in Italy and the UK.
My fascination for arcade machines grew over the years. Nowadays I own a handful of non-dedicated cabinets from that magic era.
I'm not into electronics but still haven't electrocuted myself.
