How hardy are Triforces?

Awesome. It's interesting to hear that I can be done with some component swaps. Did you happen to document any of the process? I'm thinking when I originally researched Triforce troubleshooting and repair a couple years ago, I didn't come across claims of success in getting a GC motherboard swapped in. It would be cool to have that info documented somewhere for posterity.
