In Free Select, the original US release runs one speed step faster than Japan at the same Turbo label. This restoration keeps the Japanese speeds. Its factory defaults are fixed Turbo 2 and one coin per credit; the original US defaults are Free Select and two coins per credit.New in rc1
First public release.Getting it running
- You need your own dump of Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition (Japan 040202), the MAME set
hsf2j, as a .zip, a .7z or a folder. Merged, split and complete sets work. No game data is hosted. - The IPS kit builds HBMAME and FBNeo outputs. Use emulator builds that include the
hsf2reset. - On MiSTer, use the stock Japanese romset and the MRA kit with Jotego's
jtcps2core. It appears under_Arcade/_Arcade Patches/_Restorations. Split sets also needqsound.zip.
This is a release candidate. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome right here. Tell me which fighter, version and platform you ran, what you did and what you saw.
