What about jumpers on PROGBK2?the simplest way is to use a progBK2 which accepts 4MB 27c322 for audio.
Solutions:
1) ProgBK2
2) Toshiba adapter
3) Bank switching
no other way to use SNK board.

2001 has PROGBK2, I think that to use other boards its necessary to do bankswitch...PROGBK2 board looks like it is used by some rarer games. A more common board can't be used?
for audio JV16+JV14+JV9+JV12What about jumpers on PROGBK2?
Yes, follow the image for bankswitch on progbk1 or use adapterPROGBK2 board looks like it is used by some rarer games. A more common board can't be used?
For C Rom, can I use 3 27C322? instead of 6 27C160?This is how can be splitted:
![]()
Split C1 and C2 in 2MB part and keep only the first 3...
![]()
Use C1 splitted as C1-C3-C5 and C2 as C2-C4-C6
Sure you can use but you got empty space inside. No problem its still working fine. For C Rom, can I use 3 27C322? instead of 6 27C160?
PS: I think that I making a mistake here, when splitting C Rom it'll be 4 parts of 2mb and I need just the 3 first parts of it, I guees that I can't use 27C322
nice work !!!My AES test setup of Double Dragon One

I think its not supported on progbk1, but good question.Oooh this is so nice - loving to see @ack s amazing work one the Toshiba adapters come to life.
Question if I may, looks like there are 4 x VROMS on the BK1. would it be possible to consolidate to just 2 x VROMS with 640's on the flash adapters or the like?
its supported on adapter and word mode, but on progbk1 i think no.I love those @ack adapters. Had the backside populated by JLC so I just had to put on the flash memory.
Is there a flash adapter that supports 640s? If so that would be interesting for other stuff like PGM and Capcom ZN-2.
Check this jumpers,You know what sucks worse than desoldering all the C roms? Doing it twice!
Lesson learned though and now with the 4 27C322 approach the graphics are working on my CHA512Y!! Thanks @pierpa86
Now that I can finally play the game, I noticed one last issue. There is a clicking/static noise. There were no Z80 error or anything so wondering why the audio is doing this.
Here is the current board and jumpers. Is there anything else I am missing?
