I got mine as well, but I'm having trouble with the sd card i assume. I am re-downloading the pack and I'm going to try again. Is it normal that it doesn't fit on an 8 gig sandisk card?

Probably depends on the actual size of the 8gb card - companies are not consistent with that.

I have my files on a 32GB card - but this is the size on disk for me: 7.51 GB (8,068,341,760 bytes)

You DO NOT need to make any firmware update, just make sure that you have the latest version of the menu in your "games\menu" folder.

As the instructions say DO NOT use SDXC microSD cards as they are not compatible. Use SDHC cards only.

This DID catch me - the writing is the micrSD cards is so small - I grabbed one that was SDXC and just got the initial boot crosshatch screen... finally figured it out :)
