Hello there fellow members - Hursit is offering to create a Project Diva control panel if there is enough interest. The price for the panel only with a plexi glass, metal case and color of your choice from the colors available for a total of $65, DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING OR ANY OTHER PARTS. I don't have to tell you that $65 is a bargain right?.. I have asked Hursit to provide two model, the original one taken from the link bellow with 4 100MM buttons and an 8 model version. Bellow is a drawing of how the panels are looking right now.. I have asked Hursit to modify the panel for palm rest.

I need to know who would be interested in one of these.. thanks

Features
1- place for the Brook PCB like my fight stick ( Not RED pub included )
2- Color can be White-Black-Red
3- Plexi glass included.
4- I can't tell exact shipping cost. But normal fight stick is 35 USD to USA. I think this one will be more, bfs the boxes will be bigger. I think it will be about 60 USD. Maybe more or less. I can't tell exact price.

Here is a link to the tread of Hursit's current fighting panel offerings

Interesting...

Do you have a BOM of what I would need to source myself + extra costs for that?

the person above has a link of all the parts - If you go no lights, Generic 100m and a PS4 pad hack it should be extremely cheap and functional:).. The game is fun, I looked into 60mm buttons which I got and those are way too small and not practical.

the important thing is to use those bellow.. also it takes a while for akishop to ship stuff.

looks pretty simple and straight forward, but can end up expensive with all parts...

2 things that are a bit unclear to me;
1- How exactly to connect all the arrow buttons? Why every other one?
2- How to connect the extra 4 buttons on the 8b version?

Ow and which games would be compatible on PS4? Not sure if they use the touchpad or not?

@PascalP - since you and I are the only ones that are interested in this controller, this project is dead:(

Lets see if i can answer -
1- the arrows are chained to L1 and R1.. the game has simple arrow press left and right arrows and also long arrows in a row which is why you have all the buttons. The original panel designer was trying to simulator a touch pad. The arcade version has a touch pad instead of buttons for the arrows and only 4 100mm buttons.

2 - the arrows top half left will be L1 and the top left, 2 100mm buttons will be L1 also. The arrows half right will be R1 and the top right, 2 100mm buttons will be R1. this layout would make it easier when playing the games and getting more points/accuracy. Or you can use to top 4 100m to simulate up, down, left, right and the lower O,X, triangle, square since the game supports that layout as well.

PS4 game compatible - not sure but if there are games like rockbands or music buttons presses games then you can configure the controller however you want. Also, vortex, Beatmania on PC, my understanding is that those arcade games have been dump and can be played on PC.

thanks for the answers, not very clear still as I don't see the use for all those 'redundant' buttons then...

As far as I my question on which games on PS4 are compatible, I did mean which Project Diva games specifically...
But of course if you like a challenge you could play God of War with this controller as well :P

Project diva future tone has over 200 songs and reviews are good.. that is the best game on the series.. Play the game with a standard PS4 to understand why I picked that layout.. You will get different numbers of buttons pushes combinations and the closest your hands are to the buttons the faster you will press then and more points you will get on the game. The game has different skill levels of play and as you go up on skill levels the faster the buttons that are flaying on the screen.. I studied other projects and what is available now and the project link above is the one that makes the most sense to me. Also that is why the panel was offered in two versions, 4 100mm buttons and 8.
