What's new
I helped out a fellow that lives two hours away from me with a chassis and flyback overhaul on his Egret 29. If it would be helpful, I could reach out to him to see if he'd be willing to get his pod 3D scanned.

Curious how that plays out. Lasert cut plexi with vinyl graphic overlays? Or is the edge chamfered and needs CNCing or what?
I assume the original had screen printed graphics, just seems impractical for a one off. I haven't seen any hight quality photos though, just small ones I looked up.

Edit: I did just find these photos though. Unfortunately they're by some random bloke named "Twisted Symphony", good luck finding anyone with a name like that!

(Is that an original or a repro? Clearly the back is chamfered.)

I spoke with @Battlesmurf about getting around to reproducing the "EGRET 29" plexi on the pod.
are you talking about the Green Art Holder or the "EGRET 29" Logo on the front of the pod?

I have a couple of the Battlesmurf art-holder repos: https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...ders-bracket-reproductions.20400/#post-319952
they're quite good. size and shape is perfect, they're chamfered like the original, color is perfect art is vinyl instead of paint though.
I don't actually run them on my cabs as I have original art holders but I bought a set of his as a backup.

I personally am talking about the EGRET 29 logo on the pod. I already have one of the reproduction art holders.

I figure with the Egret 29 logo in hand it may be easier to fashion the missing piece of plastic. My first thought was to 3D print the missing portion (I think it's a 6x2x2 or so piece), then sand, bondo, sand, dye and be done.

If it would be helpful, I could reach out to him to see if he'd be willing to get his pod 3D scanned.
This could be really interesting! My top half is fine (but super gross) the bottom half is both cracked in half and missing a small bit above the EGRET 29 logo.
