Kortek kt-2914df weird sync trouble

Hi everbody i have a weird sync troubleshooting with this chassis

kortek kt-2914df 29" samsung crt

when i plug random pandora box with VGA image is so clean and good sync

when i plug DDR SuperNova 2 we have in the top of screen a weird h-sync problem

i test with a TPG its all good no prob, the flyback looks good, no cracks

and i test with a GBS8200 (CGA/EGA/YUV/RGB to VGA) i use vga to vga and..... no sync problem image is sooooo clean as fuck

There's likely a pot for adjusting horizontal hold on the chassis.

Humm I Check schematic and I see only 1 pot and I think is for B+ / Flyback

I had this problem way back when trying to connect some consoles to mine. I needed to wire up a sync separator because it didn't like the composite sync coming from that specific device.

Aha, so it has an OSD. Nothing there for adjusting sync?

EDIT: nevermind, I just read the manual, there's nothing to adjust sync.

I found trouble… a fucking DIP switch !!!

Flip dip switch number 4 and voila !

No distortion in screen

DIP 4 forces the game into low-resolution mode. It works, but you'll be missing that VGA goodness.
