The boards arrived in good condition. No issue with shipping i believe. Well in my opinion.
I will test again today for you. You are a good packager.
I have had a few boards that should work. Not work recently. But other toaplan titles fire up no issues.
Not sure. We all need to give people a break to respond. I can see channel responds promptly.

Woah, I didn’t know you were testing because you told me these were packaged as working from before. My bad, and no ill intent implied. My two games were packed extremely well and I in no way felt like this was a bad deal. I was just suggesting a test before posting because I didn’t know you were doing it.

Now I guess it comes down to bad luck with 30 year old electronics.

So for me. I was unaware boards were tested. So i could have gone off. Now i am far from perfect.
Even here, i have made some bad jokes, that have distanced others on here from me. I still have chocolate on my face hahahaha!
@XtraSmiley your intentions are all good, i believe.
But i do get burned quite often, with buying. So you may see something in my posts at times here and on klov mainly.
We just need to be reasonable with each other.
Some of you might think im a prick. In your eyes. So i am a prick to you perhaps. But im not rude.

As someone who visits Channels shop on the regular, calls him family, and has had boards repaired by him for over 10 years now, with no major issues ever, I can assure you, he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

He is one of the major reasons the DFW scene is blessed to be in the state it is today...both the arcade scene and the classic computer scene, as he does huge work for both. His years of repair logs more than speak for themselves.

I would put every ounce of reputation I've ever earned as an arcade tech/seller/buyer, both professionally and personally to defend his.....because without him I would never have flourished in this scene the way I that I have.
 
Never bought from @channelmaniac but his repair logs and knowledge speak for themselves. Amazing resource. Would highly doubt he’d throw away his reputation selling boards not working.

Seems like he’s very open to sort buyers issues out. Don’t blame him for being frustrated either… would be frustrating having that happen.

Did same tests again. Reseating all roms / socketed chips.
Hellfire is now running. Well after power reset with it.
Will need to do further testing on this. Interesting. I did the same tests when it would not boot last time.
Only difference is i before resettong with active vram / rom error. I down powered it for twice as long same with the fault was left on screen for much longer. Somewhere above 3 minutes.
But it is running. A few minutes into test. Hmmm ?

Grr locked and loaded now running. Issue was near audio section. Socketed component near custom.
Looks good now. Will test for longer. No more white screen not showing gameplay.

Hey I just wanted to close the loop on my two game purchase from @channelmaniac. One game did arrive with some graphical issues, but he was very responsive in getting it fixed. No problems and I would not hesitate to buy from in the future, he's a great seller. Thanks again for the games!
