I needed PCB Connector for Neo Geo Controller, I had to find a solution because D-SUB 15 Connector cannot be inserted into the Neo Geo.
You need
A. FC Controller Port Connector from Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006132114859.html
There is one part I need, but they don't seem to sell it separately.
B. Female D-SUB DIP Straight Type such as DS1034-15F
I need 15 pins, and I think they don't sell this type of pin separately, so I decided to extract it here.
If anyone knows the part number of the pins used here, please let me know.
1. You need extract female D-SUB pin from DS1034-15F. I used a heat gun to extract them.
Pins come with plastic debri, but don't worry about it. Just watch out for the burns when working with heat gun.
2. Use a small nipper to trim the pins cleanly. Be careful not to use too much force as it will bend the pin.
3. Insert the pins into the back of DB15 part of FC Controller. Leave 2 mm of length of the pins for soldering. Small Pliers are a great tool to do this.
So, I completed the NeoGeo Connector for PCB at a low cost.
This part will be used on my USB2ARCADE
