I was looking at the underside of my MVS1C board and noticed that one of the ceramic caps adjacent to the RAM6 IC is missing. Though this photo might not show it very well, the cap looks like it was ripped of or otherwise removed (pads look intact though), as there are two fractured solder joints on the pads. Does anyone know what value capacitor goes there (the other RAM ICs have caps, so, I would assume they are necessary)? Are there schematics available for these? I guess I can always desolder the cap on the adjacent RAM and put it on the meter if all else fails.

Many thanks!

That's a decoupling capacitor, which might be specified by the datasheet of that RAM. But, it probably is easier to just desolder its buddy's cap and measure that. I think typical values would be between 0.01 μF – 0.1 μF.
