MiSTercade V2

Hi guys, I am having an issue getting any sort of display on my Mistervade v2. I'm not using it in a traditional crt cab; I'm using it on the Unico Nova blast. I know the monitor can do 15khz because Midway boards work on it, but I've tried all the ini files, and none seem to work. I have switched the switches, so I have no idea what the default config is now. looking for any assistance, thanks!

EDIT: Turns out the issue was my SD card, using cheap media in MISTer is a nono, make sure you use quality SD cards as it could give you issues you'd never think to check.

I ordered a V2 from the latest batch as well as a Versus. Among other things, one goal I have is that I'd like to be able to use my two side by side 4 slot Neo Geo MVS cabs for some 4 player Konami beat em ups.

So, trying to learn what I'll need to be setting up and doing when it arrives, in the meantime, I have one question. I already have a JNX Big Red converter for the JAMMA to MVS pinout that I can use for the mistercade itself. Do I need a second one to use on the Versus edge as well?

I’m not sure why you would need a converter for the layout as you can remap the keys on mister to whatever you want them to be, but you would need two mister cases and the versus kit which is an hdmi cable (I think) and that should be it as for setting up the versus kit I’d have to let T someone else answer as I have no experience. You can always message the owner on the website he’s very active helping out.

Sorry, it isn't for mapping the button layout. The MVS uses a slightly different wiring pinout on the JAMMA edge. The speakers are wired in series rather than in parallel and the adapter is to prevent damage to standard JAMMA audio amps. That's about the extent of what I know though, so looking for information if anyone else has put either of these into an MVS cab (specifically the US Big Red).
