Hey All,

I finally got around to testing my Mistercade and I'm getting video but no audio.

Running through Jamma.
Running a dual ram setup.
SW0 and SW3 are in the ON position and SW1 and SW2 are in the OFF position.
Set to remote audio to make use of the mister addons remote.
Loom comes from Lemony Vengeance. I might switch things up and use my original loom to see if that one has issues too.
I get audio when I run my CPS2 using the loom and the RCA cables attached to it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the volume pot on the mistercade set to 100%?
 
Turn it all the way up. Also check the mister menu as there’s a software volume control

Turned it all the way up and raised the volume in the menu, nothing.

In your mister.ini settings, do you have dvi-mode=0? If not, set it to that.

Maybe try setting this to 1 then.

Edit: Actually no, I have mine set to 0.
I’m not sure what else to try.

I have the DE-10 switches set to:

SW0=on, SW1-3 off. (Switch 0 is the furthest switch from the power jack side).

Settings:

dvi-mode=0
hdmi_audio_96khz=0

Well, it looks like the loom lemony vengeance sold me is defective. I tested the original one and I the sound works.

Sorry what cab is this in? If it’s an Astro those harnesses are pretty simple to reseat pins in.
 
I don't seem to have this issue. Here's a video of my New Astro City connected via JAMMA. I have a Riddled TV 2-Way Splitter along with CPS3 as main. V1 and V2 seem as sharp and colorful as one another.

Purchased my Mistercade V2 August 24, 2024.

If its an NAC it's very likely an ms9 which doesn't display the issue. Regular astro's with an ms8-29 seem to be have the issue.
