This has been tested on 2 different naomi 1 and 1 naomi 2, original and universal bios, netboot and cart, and 2 different psu (sun and atx)

Before 1.46 my issue was input delay with 2 controller plugged in (same or different). Now with 1.46 I get an io error after a set time. It's not the same for every game. Example MvC2 error at 1m15s were cannonspike error at 13s. Powerstone doesn't error at all

I have found out for MvC2, if I only have P1 plug in for 30s then plug in P2 I get no error. This work for CvS2 but not for Sega tetris

Yesterday I made simple Raspberry Pi Pico controller for my exA because why not (the 20-pin is for the brook harness)

The controller works perfectly on Windows but the IONA doesn't recognize it so I contacted Toyoshima last night, fortunately he has the Pico and will test it out
here's the tracking in case anyone is interested

I used the GP2040 firmware

Good stuff. Working on a similar setup for my DB15 wired Vewlix. But I took the lazy route and just got one of these.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/394254930636

ya i saw that, im using the same software but wanted to make my own because its fun
Fair chance I'll end up doing my own as well since I ultimately want one with a DB15 connector for the input.

I'll have to check out the new firmware later today. Hopefully some work has been done for the naomi

Was going to update the firmware on this - but am at the point where Windows11 sees the device - I browse over to winusb device, and it says "The device cannot start".

I have tried two computers now.

Looks like folks are saying the best bet is to get an old usb2.0 hub?

updated to 1.47 and confirm that the Pico is working
updating the firmware is a pain, it wouldn't work on two of my computers, I used a regular USB-A to USB-A connector (that way i don't have to shorten any connections).

I had to try it on another computer. I couldn’t get it to work on my primary PC on USB 2.0 or 3.0 when I got that message.

it's nuts - it took me several tries on 3 different computers, on several usb ports to finally update to 1.47

I have some old USB hubs as well but they don't work - at least the computer I use for work works :)

On the same computer that wouldn't work before - I bought and used this usb2.0 hub - worked perfect.

Has anyone run this in a "live" setting (aka tournament) by any chance? Curious how well the mapping of buttons goes with multiple different sticks being plugged/unplugged all day long. I skipped bringing my setup to a tournament this weekend because the thought of troubleshooting and walking people through mapping their buttons over and over all day scared me off lol.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it in a tournament setting unless you have a predefined setup that is all pre configured and users have to use the sticks plugged in.

I've tried replicating a tournament setting at home and I personally found it to be a dog's breakfast, in my opinion, it's 100% not tournament friendly
