Mvs 2 Slot NEO-MVH MV2F board The sound works interestingly

Sounds are omitted in some places.
Another board in the same game works well, not the game is wrong.

MVS sound is a prick of a thing.

To help troubleshoot there is a NeoGeo test Bios and sound test cart that you can download/make

the test bios is a straight bios swap, the sound test cart will require a donor cart to swap chips with.

Once you have the error codes here you can post them on this thread in the neo-geo forums to narrow down the problem

I did exactly this for the sound problems on my 1-slot which was an enormous waste of time and money given how cheap an MV-1 is, but still a fun project

I’m sorry I’m such a noob but I don’t use diagnostics yet.
I get this picture after turning it on. does not respond to any buttons.

I can't find a sound test menu

You don't have to test the sound here

can you help how do i know

There are two parts to the Diagnostics suite

The test bios = working for you = good!
The Z80 sound test cart = you can make one of these, it will specifically test the sound subsystem (z80 and friends)
