How does your replacement look like, are you using TTLs or is it CPLD?

For now I'm using a handmade DIP42 to PLCC44 adapter. I'm using an ATF1504 CPLD (overkill for the task but there's not much choice for 5V CPLDs that are still manufactured).

what are you programming the ATF with?
i'v looked at the 750 and 1500, but the TL866-II+ does not support them, and they are too new for my older programmers.

Dataman 48 or ISP.
TL866 is a big no no for me (DIP40 socket).

The offical Atmel cable. Cheap and worked on the first try.
