Well, I must say, I’m quite happy with my custom cables, new orders ship today! Thanks to all of those who support this project and I hope everyone who bought a pair will be happy with them. This has been a fun project for me and this is what I needed to be able to kill off my boredom and give back to to y’all. I am planning on a cheaper smaller plug and play, easy “quick-dis/connect” version. More details on that version soon! Sorry if I take too long on your orders, I want to make sure these cables work well with out any issues, I believe in quality, not junk work. Anyone else interested in a pair? DM me! :) ( I’m still working on international shipping)

*prices will change, I’m hoping to lower the prices. The pandemic has really made cables and connectors go up in price.

I know it’s a lot to process, but these are estimated prices for now. I’m working on the cooler more useful options. I know the Namco cyberlead cabinet has some PlayStation ports and from what I have heard, other arcade pcbs can utilize them and will function on other non-Namco systems. I’m not sure if that’s a rumor or if it’s true, but I would like to replicate that in some way. I have started on some of those projects right now,hence the “Prototype in progress”. I know some of these will seem impossible and/or financially expensive, but I know I will do it at an affordable price and I know I will accomplish these goals. Parts are going to be expensive, but I will try my best to find affordable good quality parts. I’m also planning on making some custom arcade wire harnesses for the time crisis games and possibly other arcade systems. Ok, that’s everything I wanted to say and hopefully some of you might be interested, I’ll have product images soon. Take care everyone! :)

I’m still working on international shipping, I’m sorry to all my international peeps out there if I’m a bit slow on this, what cheap shipping service would you guys recommend I try out for international shipping?
 
Also, I am providing diy kit versions of this cable if you want to assemble one yourself. It will include a pair of PlayStation controller cables already stripped and heat shrinked into place, 16 pins, a 16 pin connector and an instruction sheet for the pin outs and color codes of the wires.The kit will be available for $20. I should note that the HRAP I'm using is the very first model, which for some reason isn't compatible with my Arthrimus PlayStation to DB15 adapter, even though the later Tekken 5 HRAP is. But there aren't any compatibility problems with that stick using Franco23444's controller adapters. (Guess I should've shown that more...)

Bottom line, buy these cables. Everything just works (except for using Select as Coin for obvious reasons :saint:). A System 256 without these cables is like, I dunno, pizza without cheese.

Yes, they will work perfectly fine, they are arcade stick games nonetheless, not sure about the layout tho, but this also means you can use your own PS1/2 Sticks, so long the layout is like
(1) (2) (3)
(4) (x) (x)

Then is completely Gundam viable.

I will give it a try with the Gundam games once I get the chance. Time Crisis 3 and 4 partially work but as a foot pedal.

I will be very happy to see the results! There is still a pretty active community for the older Gundam games (Particularly Rengou vs ZAFT II), because Japanese guys found a way to "Hamachi'd" the ethernet jack, and they can essentially play online with their PCB

So sad the PS2 port didn't had any offline LAN options at all, but hey, there is at least a work around.

I will definitely test them out and I’ll even update my list of 256 games that have controller support.
 
Hello everyone! I just want to say thank you all for the support! As this is the first thing I have ever built and sold, this means a lot to me. 🥲 I have sold out of cables and should have more in stock by December 2021-January 2022. It has been a blast assembling these and reading all of your kind reviews and comments.
