Name that connector: the thread

Hey guys,

Just had my ms9-29 recapped on reinstall this plug crumbled.

I was able to plug it all in and get a picture still but would like to replace the housing.

It is on the yoke wires.

It has amp but I can’t work out what model it is.

Cheers

You’ll likely have to import them from China. I got them from aliexpress but the page no long exists, you can search elsewhere for them, though.

If you're also interested, TJC1 is the smaller pitch connector used on the Toshiba PF and for vertical yoke connectors on a handful of chassis from Sanwa, lots of TVs etc. Useful to pick up some packs of them from Aliexpress and keep them around. MUCH cheaper than APAR.

Thanks everyone,

I made a small fopar and brought the tjc1 version from AliExpress. Cheap enough with shipping so no big deal. But I will have to try and find a tjc2 version that is economical with shipping.

Arcade parts and repairs had them but I need a $20 minimum. Which is completely fair and I would do the same, but I just need to work out what else i need from them to get upto my spend.

Cheers

Good call @JohnRambo'sKnife I hadn't considered that, was thinking digikey for caps etc.

I have 3 NAC power supplies all uncapped and the audio amps.

Plus I have the cps1 dash I'm trying to replace / rebuild the dodgy audio section the Chinese sold it with.

so that solves the $20 buck issue 🤦‍♂️I'm probably in the $100 buck problem now 😂

cheers

This one is actually a TJC1 which i brought by mistake, but then was correct. i just crushed the rest of the old plug of the crimp terminals and pushed them into the new housing as the crimps were perfect.

It was for the horizontal yoke winding. because i installed it backwards the first time haha.

got it here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100....order_list.order_list_main.39.235e1802YuBkwb

cheers

Looking to ID this connector off of a (bootleg, I think) arkanoid spinner
very similar to a PC fan connector, but 4 pins
Molex KK and TE MTA-100 look close
