What's new
Yep. And then you have to check again with the PCB attached to get a more proper reading since the PSU will now be under load. How much of a load depends on the PCB.
Ok so without a board I'm at 5.17 VDC and 11.8 on the 12v pins I guess I should probably dial back that pot on the power supply eh?

I got the chassis back ill investigate it more at some point and if I ever find the root cause and repair it ill hopefully remember to post the results here.
In the meantime first thing ill just retest the chassis JSN sent in and prepare another known working chassis to send out.

Retested the chassis today. No HV period coming to the anode, neck is glowing B+ is at 180V DC.
I tested a spare I have and will be preparing that one to ship out to JSN as a replacement.

If I ever fix this ill try to remember to post the fix here.

I also dont recall hearing the deflection running so maybe there is a issue in the deflection on this board and its shutting the HV down?? not sure.

If you refer to one of my videos posted earlier here I thought I was getting a hum… is that not deflection?

Yeah it should be? I dont recall hearing it today at the warehouse cause I didnt take a mental note to check so im not sure tbh its gonna be a deal with it later situation. These next few months for me are getting busy busy

UPDATE: I now have a fully functional screen.

@GeekMan1222 was able to send me a spare and we did an exchange. What an awesome guy with excellent customer service.

I really appreciate him going to this level of support effort as a seller. Thanks all for the advice and help.

Awesome. I wouldn’t expect a seller to do any less (make it right). But its also great to see it happen so quick and transparently.
