I found these errors on the 29E31S schematics.

C911 listed as 24µ, is a 47µ

The representation of Q412 is not accurate (regarding the level of details elsewhere). The 2SC5143 have a damper diode and a base resistor built-in.

C422 is 5n6, (not 3n6 uncommon value)

R913, R926, R940, 560 ohms 1/2w age poorly, found often 800 to 1300 ohms....

The 29E31S again :

I had two 10n cap shorted in two weeks. And none before that. Is it a bad batch of 10n....?

Evident symptom, one of the cuttoff is inoperant. zero, nada action

Cullprit : C934, C940 or C941

Maybe faulty : C917, C919, C921

C910 on the 12v rail.

You should measure ~4k on the 5 pots between gnd and center point to find a bad cap.

This one is 400 ohms !
