I just got this setup, been troubleshooting for a few minutes now, had to power cycle a few times, now my NAOMI is no longer even spinning its fan. I'm using a ATX power supply.
atx psu's if they aren't quality might not give u the correct voltage needed for the naomi. they are very very picky with voltage, so there is that, but then i saw this on a different forum..
"
Error 31 is a generic netboot failure. Error 22 means bad connection between the DIMM and the board.
For 22, you want to take a look at the daughterboard on the DIMM; verify the connections are nice and tight, and clean all of the connectors. Then, do the same on the mainboard. Try again. If it continues to fail, you have a bad DIMM."
so if you have the 22 error do what it says and clean it out.
you got me homie. my netdimm setup works so i haven't had to tinker i don't think its that difficult though but i can't help more than that. How exactly do I even open the DIMM up? Ive gotten a few screws out but its still having a hard time getting out.
Just reseated the connections, now it isn't even booting the cart at all, just giving me a black screen.you got me homie. my netdimm setup works so i haven't had to tinker i don't think its that difficult though but i can't help more than that.
I just checked my voltages, I'm using an ATX power supply, for some reason it's showing 5.05 on my multimeter for my 3.3 lines???You should measure voltages. There's no point in troubleshooting it further before that.
