Bump. Is World Stadium 92 the only one not using cus102 or does the original world stadium not use it either?
Can assault be played with two normal joysticks & 2 regular buttons?

I noticed the kit seems to be sold out at most of the usual sites.

Is another round of system 2 multi planned?

How do i tell what multi's have been feleased and are available. Is irem 92 released and availabke. Also is this namco multi released or whip?

I've been really happy with the Namco System 2 Multi, but it bothered me that Dirt Fox wasn't playable since it was designed to interface with an analog steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal.

After many hours of trial and error with the MAME debugger, I've worked out a modified ROM that will let you play Dirt Fox with standard joystick controls:

Joystick Left: Steer Left
Joystick Right: Steer Right
Joystick Up: Shift Up
Joystick Down: Shift Down
Button 1: Gas
Button 2: Brake

If you'd like to try it with your own System 2 Multi, open the MPR file in a hex editor (I use HxD), go to line 100000 and overwrite the contents from 100000 to 13FFFF with this modified ROM. Then reflash your MPR module, select Position 4 on the selector dial, and enjoy the game!
