Yeah, anytime we start talking about non-integer scaling I get nervous. But, so long as the RGBS output is clean I can just run my own scaler.

Yeah it would be horrible if it was like the mini. I suspect they will get it right.
I also thought about this.. and I do find it a bit wierd that they didn’t write anything at all about this.. I mean a re-release of their masterpiece of a console.. wouldn’t that be worth mentioning? Even if it’s licensed to another firm? Idk..
It could be some dumb agreement they have with Plaion that they get the promote/market 1st or for a set period of time but I looked myself and do find it odd there isnt alot of mention on any of SNK's officials. hmmmm
Guess its still very fresh so hopefully this journey will worth the pain!

Does anyone known the PLAION "Samurai Shodown V Special" has censored or not? The cartidge box of JP says 'CERO C' normaly means that it is a 'censored' version, not allow 'body cut'

I aspect to open the SNK Official website and get straight from the home page a big news like that.
It's not just about promoting, It's the new release of one of the most famous video game hardware...

For real go to any retro event and you will see a ton of Retro Dudes an Dudetts who will already be totally lost when they see a Famicom instead of a NES. Hell depending on your region the Sega Saturn is already obscure Hardware. The NeoGeo is simply not Big outside of our niche of a niche.
Anyway this trying to poke holes in the AES+ before it has been released is really weird. Everybody should be wary when they have to pay before a product is "real" but the reaching some people go to to find something that might be wrong in the most anal way possible... (the Games will be lighter, the print quality of the covers in the random photo from japan is not as good, xyz isn't talking enough about it, the storage of the games will not be tech from almost three decades ago, the console will only have composite because nobody spelled out RGB etc.)

Let us know how it goes, I sent them a message for cancellation on April 17th but still no response. I did order it on Amazon.ca and today i see that surprisingly all of AES+ and related items have gone out of stock, not sure whats happening!
probably very low stock allocation to help build the hype train. Nintendo are the masters of this!
I got my cancellation processed, so I could make an order on the ultimate bundle instead
I am going out of line here but I feel like the neo geo niche is one of the more toxic ones I've seen and I could very well see them being upset about people being able to enjoy the games / hardware without the insane cost of entry.
Now with all the BS out of me, I think every smart person should probably not believe statements as facts before we actually see the end products. And people shouldn't buy in advance like I did due to FOMO or such if they are not willing to take a chance that it might not live up to the promises or if budget is so tight that you wouldn't manage without this money (then you shouldn't be buying it regardless of promises)

The NG scene was toxic 20 years ago and it's not much different now! I'm not sure why NG owners are such asses, I mean, is it because the Super Nintendo has more colors?
Having a ton of the old hardware, I'm not angry people are going to be able to get games cheap now, I'm super happy for everyone to enjoy it! People get really weird about video games.
I'm working in that way also, to change toxic NG scene releasing all my project free for all ! Spreading love like an hippy from 1960 !

I hope they don't end up cancelling pre-orders from places like Amazon because they can't possibly produce enough product in time for the release. . . .Grain of salt as with all corporate LinkedIn content, but Embracer Chair is saying it sold way beyond their expectations so far.
