I wouldn't quite say that bro...what I want to avoid is the wifi! Choose your game via an app : no! Thx@USHIMATA like the CPS2 just the lcd display. however, someone clever could probably write some python or other code and run it on a small raspberry pi, which could interface with the lcd selector header and then allow you to choose a game via a webpage GUI via wifi, say on your mobile phone. Seems more difficult than just using the selector and a long selector cable but would be cool anyway. (just a thought)
They're standard SPST buttons, if you were to wear one out, they're easily replaced without junking the whole LCD selector.In fact, the great unknown is the longevity of lcd display selection's buttons...day after day, this becomes overly repetitive and will soon strain the selection's buttons by dint of pressing the trigger!
Even with quality components because nothing's eternal; unfortunately
The flash ROMs will wear out decades before the LCD buttons.They're standard SPST buttons, if you were to wear one out, they're easily replaced without junking the whole LCD selector.
So, we'd have nothing to worry about, then.No I want a CRT for game select, I hate lcd word!![]()
buy a longer LCD cable; problem solvedBy the way bro : sitting on my couch eating donuts and my bud, if I could avoid getting up, press a button to change the game...
Or, better yet : install a remote control, like what was done with the "32in1"or get a long stick to press the button

A kick harness is needed if you want to use the extra buttons.Is it necessary for us to have a Kick Harness with?
Maybe is the card already programmed for 6 buttons...so, no need to have one..
Thx
So much to unpack here...Does any member sell one? I didn't have welding equipment;
To facilitate attachment of the connector, I was looking more for a jamma'comb, so already programmed.
How would I find that out?
They're up to 86 in 1 now... mostly variants of games. 24 versions of SF2.Or, better yet : install a remote control, like what was done with the "32in1"
