If this ends up being a kit that only requires an original "A" board - it seems ilke you could probably use a bootleg board ?
I am looking at a Strider Hiryu that has "reproduction eeproms" as the seller put it, but "original A board" for use with this.
Trying to figure out if the bootleg/reproduction would work if I just need the original A board.

We can get Qsound chips from the old Qsound amps I believe, which is still destructive but not as bad as killing working CPS2 boards (or worse yet CPS1.5 boards).
