The CPS1 multi has been officially confirmed and is currently being developed as a co-venture between Darksoft & Apocalypse.

As of now here are some details (subject to change):

The multi will be similar to the CPS2, so it will will have:

• Pricing will be similar to the CPS2 multi, so expect it to cost somewhere around $350-400 EUR
• LCD screen for game selection/loading
• Load roms from SD card
• Any CPS1 game board set/combination should work with the multi
• As of now it looks like it will comprise of a B+C board together as a kit (so you should only need the A board with either the 10 or 12Mhz crystal) The C BOARD being integrated might change, you might still need a C board)
• Support for spinners, etc
• The addition to support Q-Sound is being looked into, no promises it will make it into the final version

Apologies, I'm sure this has already been discussed but just to be clear, the CPS1 12MHZ DASH A-Boards are the best donors for this multi?

Probably for full game compatibility? But you can convert standard CPS1 mainboards to 12Mhz by replacing the crystal I understand.

I think, he is confused . He dont know what game to purchase . pang 3 motherboard (A board is what he needs) or this is from @Apocalypse => make the crystal on a motherboard (A board) who comes with SF2 : World Warrior

in preparation for my CPS1 multi (when I get the message) i recapped an A board and upgraded to 12mhz oscillator. Now it works great with a SF2-HF B/C board.
Thanks @Apocalypse for the info about being able to do this, have not changed the Z80 but I have one here if I need to swap it out.
