What's new
me too. Makes it worth it for me as long as its lagless.

This is going to be the BEST solution for us, ever! Here's a mini update from Marqs.

Speaking of different displays, the adaptive line multiplication modes (ref. table a few pages back) are selected with the following display types in mind:

* SD CRT TVs (480p->240p, 480p->480i, 480i->240p etc.)
* HD CRT TVs (720p, 1080i output modes)
* 5:4 / 4:3 desktop monitors (1280x1024 and 1600x1200 output modes)
* 16:9 / 16:10 desktop monitors (1920x1080, 1920x1200, 1920x1440 output modes)
* HDTVs (720p, 1080p output modes)

About the schedule, we're now preparing second prototype round. Unfortunately the project has not been immune to the pandemic, though, and some rearrangements have been necessary. Late 2020 release is still possible if everything goes well from now on, but no guarantees.

Looking at the bill-of-materials cost, I think there may be a bit of sticker-shock when it's announced. But who knows, if they commit to making several 1000s to begin with, it may lower than I expect (which is quite a bit higher than 300)

Still using my Framemeister. Been holding off for the Pro :thumbsup:

I’m excited but am really hoping marqs can figure out a way to display 240 at 9x for 4K Support.

Here are some updates from April though, according to the remarks, maybe this will be out by end of the year.
Looks like they are aiming for it to have a proper case as well. I wonder how it will compare against the Retrotik5X.

Videogameperfection posted this on Twitter hinting this is the final revision (or close to) of the Pro. Looks pretty beastly.

@Stupid Dufus massive pet peeve of mine. I’m actually using a prototype of the Sentinel Supergun on my test bench at the moment for the simple fact the power and video ports are to the back where it makes sense.

I swear half of these “smart” “engineers” have no idea how impractical their port placements are.
