Shit looks pretty new, in the modern era I didn't think Konami made anything but pachino machines.
What games used these protections/keys?

Konami makes a few arcade games still, mostly rhythm games and medal (gambling) games. A lot of them don't leave Japan (except DDR and a few other rhythm games).Shit looks pretty new, in the modern era I didn't think Konami made anything but pachino machines.

Yup, the picture above is for beatmania IIDX 25 through 27 (still active in Japan). The token in the OP is for beatmania IIDX 20 through 24 (online service ended)I think the beatmania machines use these
I don't get it. Why's that?If you are intending to use these for anything besides looking at, stop now.
What do you mean?If you are intending to use these for anything besides looking at, stop now.
Yeah, I believe IIDX 18 was one of the first games to use them.Pretty sure IIDX 18 Resort Anthem already had one of these. I have 17 Sirius and that one uses the old bottle cork top shaped keys.

Many of these games use a older type of security key. No interest in those.Konami used some PC based hardware in the late 2000s: https://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=587
I sent you a PM.I'd assume the reason is because they're 100% useless at this point.
If you're collecting them, I guess that's something, but they're wholly unnecessary to play the games.
You did. And it read really odd.I sent you a PM.
1) There are many games undumped.1) There's literally no use to anyone beyond collection with data dumps out there available, and the games cannot be run with dongles without official network anyway.
2) These can be tracked and we don't need more people doing dumb shit with them. There's a reason all the importers pull dongles now. People HAVE done dumb shit with them, and it IS causing bad backlash, so being pretty serious here, don't do anything dumb with KONAMI dongles. There are very real-world consequences. There isn't anything you can do with them someone else hasn't already done
I'll send another PM clarifying it.You did. And it read really odd.I sent you a PM.
You should probably clarify some things or I can just assume whatever you're doing with them is really, really not in the best interest of anyone selling them to you.
These two statements are at odds with one another.I am interested in purchasing any Konami USB dongle.
1) There are many games undumped.
Silent Scope Bone Eater isn't dumped. Neither are clean versions of Sound Voltex Booth or II.Everything is dumped, including most of the useless shit.
If you're joking about KONAMI tracking dongles, you are absolutely the wrong person who should be messing with them. Since you aren't willing to say what you intend to do with them, I highly recommend against providing you dongles. Passing it on, right now is not a good time to stir the pot
I am not able to find a public dump of Silent Scope Bone Eater anywhere.Yes, they all are dumped and backed up, but that’s aside the point. I’m giving a very clear warning not to touch network with any of these. I’m also going to make it very clear that anyone who sells a dongle from any of our cabinets in the past will receive a permaban from imports. Will be updating my rules to reflect it now. With shit going on atm I don’t trust anyone new jumping in and trying to do stuff on their own
I want to be anonymous? If I were able to post this thread on the other sites without revealing my identity, I would have.If you've looked everywhere, why did you make an account here on a-p just to ask for dongles? Seems really fishy. I can think of at least two other places where people who might actually care about what you want to do would be, and that you would also already have an account with. Is there some reason you came to ask here where someone might not object to what you want to do? It seems to me if you wanted the people elsewhere to benefit, they'd want to provide.
All of this just sounds like you're trying to get away with something. This is an enormous red flag. There are better ways to go about things.
