Bought a JVC monitor off of
@jcmorrisii and had an excellent experience.
Communication speed: always responded within a day.
Communication style: very polite, transparent, and gave me multiple shipping options to try and save money. I went with the priciest due to it being a CRT. We had a miniature bullshit session about monitors in general during our exchanges.
Transparency: The monitor was labeled as having burn-in, and he took screenshots of the monitor running with a game of my choice (Outrun) so I could try to see what he was describing. The burn-in is VERY faint, and not really noticeable in pictures at all. Due to this, took an extra picture to point out specifically what he was talking about. After my own test, I will say that you can barely even see it against the solid blue sky in Outrun or the solid white background of the Sega splash screen on Sonic 1. If you didn't know it was there, you would probably not even notice anything. A+ to him for letting potential buyers know about it.
Shipping speed: I'm one of the fired federal workers you may have read about in the news; I'm in the process of bouncing between my hometown and the town I worked in. He timed the shipping so that it would arrive to my dad's house in Arizona during the week I would be there.
Packing: Those who were my customers when I was doing Japan proxy buying/shipping know that I always put in a lot of effort into my packing, to the point where people were forwarding stuff they bought from Buyee so I could repack it better before leaving Japan.
@jcmorrisii's packing job was perfect and I can honestly say I couldn't have done it better myself. He cut cardboard to fit around the frame of the front of the screen, and ensured it fit into the first box perfectly so it would not move around. He then placed that box into another box and placed expanding foam all the way around. You probably could have hit the screen side of the outer side of the box with a baseball bat and it would have been fine. A+ job.
Highly recommended seller
