Has anyone had any success in running CPS1 games on CPS1.5 hardware, say for instance getting SF2HF running on CPS1.5?

Not sure if this is possible by just swapping boards out.

Since the CPS1.5 doesn't have an A-board with the ADPCM audio populated, could you swap it's A-board with one from a CPS1 "Dash" (12MHz) w/the ADPCM audio populated?

Then just swap the B and C boards of the CPS1.5 game with those from SF2HF?

If you swap the A-board then yes it works if you remove the Q-sound board (D board).

You would also have to change out the C board because there's no kicks on the 1.5 C board and then all you're using from the 1.5 board is the case lol

Seems like an expensive way to run HF given what 1.5 boards sell for.

Yes true. It would be more interesting if somehow could make use of the Q-sound D-board.
