Posting this to assist anyone else with troubleshooting their netdimm.
I was constantly getting error 22 and just black screen with my Net dimm. I bought a 2nd Naomi and regular game to help with troubleshooting. The game worked, so only netdimm would fail. I figured the Net Dimm was broken so I decided to upgrade a existing GDrom dimm I had and bought another network daughter board just to verify it wasn't bad.
So if you're keeping track that's:
Another Naomi system
Game
Naomi network daughter board
Chip flasher so I can update the GDrom dimm
All the stuff comes in and I test out the new network daughter board, no picture. So I start the process of flashing and upgrading the GDrom dimm. I try it out, no picture.
I read on another post that some games work even if the Naomi slots are dirty or non functional. So I clean it out. I swap the ram out on the dimm I didn't upgrade. Now it comes up. Redo the solder on my upgraded gdrom dimm, it comes up too. WOOT
The issue ended up being the dimm slots were dirty and the ram slots were also dirty.
So if you're getting black screen or error 22 first clean the dimm really good with alcohol and if that doesn't work swap the ram out.
