I got a pxlmod Seibu HB-45A reproduction for a Raiden II board with the classic squeaky audio issue, however because I'm a colossal dumbass I accidentally followed images from a different maker's reproduction for install orientation which ended up being backwards for the pxlmod one and I think running it fried something on the module. Here's an audio recording of what it sounds like after flipping it, kind of warbly and fuzzy.
Looking at the schematic, putting it in backwards sent 12v down pin 12 so that's probably where something went wrong. If there's anyone who's more familiar with this module than I am, would you have any insight on what damage installing it backwards might do and what component or components I would want to look into replacing in lieu of ordering an entire new repro? I suppose it's also possible the module's fine and there's an issue somewhere else, although I did check continuity on each pin with where the schematic says it should be going and the audio didn't sound anything like this with the original bad HB-45A.
