I suspect I know the answer already, but I hope to be wrong:

Has anyone produced a replacement light cover for the fluoro/marquee light in a Naomi Universal or Net City cab? A clear one would be amazing, allowing for RGB lighting, but even new red ones would be a boon because they're all getting old and fragile like polymers tend to do.
 
What's wrong with your outside cover? Since there is no grain to the plastic, you could gently wet sand it with something like 2000 grit and then compound and it would probably look new.
 
Well, I'd really like one that wasn't red, with a clear one I can change the colour based on the game or my mood or whatever. But also, mine's crazed with thousands of tiny cracks (as seen here. There's no real need to get rid of them but I can't imagine it bodes well for the longevity of the part.
 
European ebay sellers usually have them and are willing to sell on their own. I agree a clear one would be cool (I wa t blue), but if you are just after a clean one, that is your best bet. If you can't locate a seller, let me know.
 
It's something I wanted years back when I had Naomis as I thought a clear one lit blue one would be great.

I think the only Naomi that didn't have a orange one was Ollie King.

The EU HOTD3 also used the green

Also, the Tekken 5 NNC as well as a handful of other themed cabinets used a dark red light bar which is noticeably different from the regular one. It's not obvious in photos but once you see them in person next to each other it's definitely several shades darker and less orangey.
