Per the test build thread I posted, the Repro boards are now available for sale.

While I was piecing together multiple stacks for the @Darksoft DECO multi (available from @Mitsurugi-w ) I found it impossible to find extra backplates.

After finally getting all the boards I needed for that I decided that a repro of the backplate would be helpful for others wo may have loose boards with no way to use them also.

The connectors on this board are uncommon and holy-shit expensive so this repro only has 3 of the 4 slots populated. The original has 4 slots but the system only uses 3 so as a cost save I omitted the 4th card edge connector.

I will have a limited number of these available due to the price of the connectors.

once I sell through this limited batch the price will go up at least $40 due to the cost of components If I need to reload and make more.

it takes around 2 hours to hand build and test each one with over 350 solders (wishlist +wave solder machine) it's a bit of work.

I hope this is helpful to some other collectors who are looking to get that multi running or even to bring back or backup an original with a missing or non functioning base plate.

Also note in this design I had my buddy who did the design for me (@pcbjunkie) add a power header on the inside with correct spacing so if you use the PCBjunkie JAMMA adapter you can route the power neatly inside the cage.

I have not populated the 90° power header for those running on original harness and not jamma. The spacing is correct and the location is ready for anyone who needs that you can drop a 90° header on yourself.

Price shipped on this original batch listed below. Price will be updated if I need to get more parts to make additional per note above.be

$125 PPff
or
$175 PPgs

My pic shows the board outside the cage for testing, also shows my custom 3D printed case for the multi if you want one for your stack:
